On a standard 8" by 11" paper you can only get 2 cd covers. I use Nero Cover Designer because there is a template in the program with the proper size and any picture you import can be resized. I go here to download all my cd cover scans...http://www.freecovers.net/

4.75x4.75" i think... its been a while since I made any covers, but for sure you can find templates online. Most printing web sites provide templates of some kind. You can just use that as a guideline. Plus they usually have templates for tray cards as well.

I discovered CoverXP some time ago and there is simply nothing to touch it for ease of use. I drag and drop graphics into it and can print out the front and back CD covers on one sheet of paper. Magic!
And if I may offer a little tip, before cutting out the printed covers, lay a ruler along the fold lines of the back cover and make a seies of cuts with a scalpel, usually around five. Now the back cover will fold easily and fit perfectly withing the jewel case. Oh, and do the cutting over a plastic table mat, not the dining room table, or you'll get a slap from the wife. |

I have many CDs and just a few of them have original covers. To create covers for other ones I use this cd label printing software.
