As many may have noticed I haven't been posting much lately, though I do try to show most everyday at least to click on the adverts and maybe read a topic or two.
However, I've been gone most of this week because something really terrible happened to my family a week ago... A brother of mine went missing last Friday. My mother found him on Monday at the coroner's... he had been murdered. We had to take care of all the bureaucracy that comes the event --- dealing with the police and taking care of the funeral. He was buried yesterday. He was 34. I've always found the 'Soup to be a very friendly place, and to me it seems almost like family, so I wanted to share the sad news with all the people I've met here. All the regulars have always been very nice to me, even at times when I've ranted my share at LPP. Well, I don't have much more to say, except to thank any replies in advance... |

gildardo, I certainly hope that the police over there are able to find the party(ies) responsible for this? Though I know it would never not replace the pain and loss you all must be experiencing. |

Thank you all for your kind words...
 And as for motive, we really don't know and have very little to go on. My home town has turned into a horrible place with a lot of recent drug violence. There have been police officers and captains who have been murdered and even those crimes have gone unsolved... it's a hideous mess over here. The federal government has even sent the military to help local authorities, but if anything things have gotten worse ever since they arrived... the guns for hire that work for the drug cartels have become so bold that they have attacked military convoys on occasion. All of us here pray the violence will end some time soon, but in the meantime my family and I are no longer witnesses, we are now part of the statistics.

There are people here that have known I have ms for quite a while before my family found out. I know I'll always get an honest answer here not one I want to hear. I know the next few months are gonna be rough, but there are many here that will stand with you. You might want to keep an eye on a few of them though. |
