It's entirely up to you SinnerSaint, I've been happily using a SP3 upgraded PC at both home and work for a few months with no problems or issues with anything.

when it was released SP3 had major issues on some AMD based PC's ,i dont know if this is still the case.

all my PC's are intel so i installed SP3 on all mine with np's at all.

Went on my AMD based Pc with no problemo.
Also installed it on the laptop and it all went fine smile.gif

I had the experience that servicepacks only install well on newly installed systems, on systems full of crap SP2 sometimes gave me an unusable system

Thanks for the replies. I'll install it on my work pc which has intel and see if it works and if it does then i'll try it on my home pc which is amd. .

@Geeker, the installer only works when you haven't installed anything else. I don't call that working.

I spent 3 hours yesterday to fix an lsass.exe object not found error (SAM file broken) so I would advice to stop using windows or instal SP3 on a newly installed system.
