In this thread I want to see if we can compare the spectrum of electricity prices across the world.
Post as much as you know... especially, 1) What you pay per KWh 2) Where you are located 3) What fuels the electric you use (Oil, Coal, Natural Gas, Nuclear, Hydro electric, solar, wind, etc...) 4) Anything that you feel significantly affects your prices. (optional) 5) How much you pay per mont on avg. (optional) I'll start. 1) 22 cents per KWh (US Dollars) 2) New York (Near the city) 3) Oil 4) Oil prices have doubled and so have our rates. Also we spend a lot on a/c 5)A lot! Now time for your thoughts! |

(optional) 1)a 12.72p GBP normal tarriff 08:00 till 01:00 1)b 5.12p GBP off peak 01:01 till 07:59 it's called economy 7 and doesn't include +£8.90 per quarter standing charge + £5 per quarter for a pay as you go meter 2)Belfast N Ireland 3)coal 4)dark days and nights, no summer, rain=more time indoors 5)£35 per month summer £50 winter |
