Feels weird posting a question here.. I've decided to organize my audio files . I have flashrenamer for the files but is there a small program for all the other attributes (wrong artist/title/extra crap)
If I'm gonna organize this mess then I only want to do it once...the right way. I do want to keep it simple title artist length no track numbers or album titles...etc.. |

i use a program called "Tag and Rename" which can do all u mentioned with mp3 files .but not sure about other formats.
u can customise what info to show or not show ,also DL track name/artists etc from an online database which works very well,if no1 can suggest anythign better then try find a copy,mines a good couple of yrs old now,but as it works i see no reason to replace it. |

In windoze I use foobar2000 for those kind of things. You can update tags from filenames and the other way around very customisably and is simply brilliant for mass renaming or tagging for music files in any format. In addition it has replaygain scanning support.
In linux I use easytag for that. |
