help with vista

I just got a new lap top installed with vista and all my movie and TV dl's won't play on it.... The same files work on my PC.... ant ideas Cheers....................

Sounds like a codec issue M8, what player are you using and also what files are you trying to play?

Yes it mentioned codex?...... Was using media player but there's sound with the lightening audio graphics but no picture.... some are xvid in fact most are xvid....

Thanks mate I also found this which has a lot of codex's on it I can now play all my movies

I've always used the cole2k codec pack. Works on all my pc's/laptops from ME to Vista !
