What a bloody mistake that was. I have Windows XP and use Firefox for all my surfing, but IE is popping up with ads once every 5 to 10 minutes. Leave the computer on over night and I usually have about 50 pop ups to close in the morning. Any ideas as to how I stop this from happening? If there is a solution you will have to explain it in the simplest terms possible since I am no tech wiz. |

I doubt very much it's Media Player.
Run a scan with something like Adaware as well as your Av prog. |

Thanks I'll try that. Figured it had to be Media Player since it's the only thing I've downloaded since this started happening.
