Well folks, the General Discussions forum is quite self-explanatory really: here you can post anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, and isn't spam.
But in case you you're not too sure before posting, here are a few guidelines and rules. 1. NO SPAM! We do not mind the odd witty remark, or simple expressions of agreement and approval. What we don't want is for threads to be dumbed down or hijacked. 2. NO HIJACKING! A user, or small group of users, may not take over a thread for another purpose, or change the subject. We do not allow multiple posts in a row by the same user. If you feel you have something to add to your last post and nobody has replied yet, please use the 'edit post' function. 3. NO OFFENSIVE MATERIAL! Pornographic or explicitly violent content, or links to it will not be tolerated. In other words: play nice, and if you're posting just to increase your post count do so in Spam Central. We understand and allow the following: 4. A few witty remarks as long as they are appropriate and do not lead to a hijacking of the thread. 5. That long discussions evolve and eventually change subject. This is normal and won't be a problem here. If, however, the original starter of a thread feels that a change of subject is interfering with his / her original topic, the user is welcome to notify a moderator who will split the topic and create a new one. Thanks, and have fun! |
