As the festive period is nearly upon us, we thought it would be nice to *brighten up* the place a little and what better way of doing this, is to let you, our valued members design a new festive banner to grace the top of our beloved forum.
You don't have to be a design expert or a whiz at art as I'm sure most of you have dabbled with some graphics package at some stage. So get your creative juices flowing and show us what you can do. A few simple rules - - Design MUST follow the following parameters - *468x60 pixels* - Following format is preferable - .psd or you can also use - .jpg .png or .gif - Closing date will be Tuesday 25th November midnight GMT. All entries received after that will not be counted. - Anyone can enter. - You can enter as many times as you like. - Every entry will be considered. - Post all entries within this thread. - At the end of the competition, all entries will be voted on by the forum members and the one with the highest votes, wins. - In the event of a tie, those entries will again, be put up for a final vote. - Voting will commence from Wednesday 26th November 'till Friday 5th December midnight GMT. - Once we have our winner, their design will be uploaded as the forum banner over the holiday period. I've got photoshop cs3 and have never tried graphics so this could be a steep learning curve... see what i can do..
edit to add first attempt at graphics ever, don't laugh (a little bit tiddly)
