Website TMZ.com is reporting that Michael Jackson (50) has died of a heart attack. Other, less dubious news sources, are largely quoting TMZ and saying that while he has had a heart attack, he's only possibly dead. I guess at some point somebody will, Schroedinger like, open the box and we'll discover which particular state he is in.

Since he was planning to use a series of stand-ins for his massive up-coming UK tour anyway, one might ask to what extent it will make much difference to his career.
