Hi OG!

Oh I know this is silly, but any of the Harry Potter books might be fun. I'd be the teacher in the tower who reads the crystal ball and teaches divination. Can't remember her name but she was a crazy old bat. That's me.

Canal Dreams by Iain Banks. The feel of it is very sympathetic to the way I dream. In fact any of his books would be fine especially his sci-fi Culture novels.

Your forgetting about the hot elf chick.

Zelazny. ..any amber novel or roadmarks
Zelazny lived in kent for a while, There is a certain unmarked road (no road) mentioned at the beginning of the book. I lived about 4 miles from it. Was kinda easy to find.

But the character I'd like to be is lu tze the sweeper one of the history monks, in the "Thief of time."

Cool pointless post....

I have had to really think about this one.

So many books....

For the hot sex I'd pick a Christine Feehan book. Any Christine Feehan book. biggrin.gif

But I'd love to live in Patricia McKillip's Riddle Master of Hed for the coolness.

If I could pick a character from any book, I'd like to be the 3rd Amanda Morgan in Gordon Dickson's Childe Cycle. Specifically The Final Encyclopedia and The Chantry Guild.

Interesting question and it made me stop and say... Whoa...

Jack Ryan has certainly had some interesting adventures, I'd also consider a few Stephen King sagas such as The Stand, or even a book or two from John Grisham regarding the life of a lawyer in the south. Toss a few of John Sanderson's Prey novels into it, and I'm hopelessly undecided. So until I can make a final decision, I'd just like to live in Bill Gates' bank book. laugh.gif
