Filesoup is still and has always been a community all about BitTorrent and file-sharing. We're aiming to help, educate and create a nice place to meet and talk file-sharing, as well as loads of other subjects and topics of interest. Membership is absolutely free and registration will only take a few moments to complete. As with each forum, there are a few things that we would like you to know right from the start, please take a moment to read through this!
New Users Please make a few posts and get involved in the Community section of our site, by simply making a few posts and actively participating in our Community, you will be able to do more and enter sections where Guests and New Users without any posts have no access.
By active participation, we do not mean making lots of posts to increase your post-count just for the sake of it, posts like that will just be removed. Instead, please contribute something helpful and/or useful to our Community, when you do, you'll be promoted to the status level of Member. It isn't the number of posts which gets you noticed and promoted, it's the quality and the content of your posts rather than the quantity of posts that matters
Example... Participate: be one of a group of people actively doing something worthwhile.
The more you participate and become involved in our Community, the more features and facilities you will be able to see and use on our site!
Please read the
pinned topics in the respective forum before posting. Yes, it might seem like a waste of time, but they contain the stuff you need to know to make yours and other users experience of Filesoup a pleasant one. Also, the
Search function is your friend!

And - there are a few links at the very top of all the pages that you might want to look into! Please remember, read the
pinned topics! If you don't know what they are, these are the threads at the very top of each and every forum
We
do not allow members to have multiple accounts posting from the same IP address. If you are already a member and someone else at your IP address wishes to become a member too, please contact an Admin to explain your particular situation before registering the new account.
If you are in need of
Technical Advice, please check out the
FAQ area and/or head for the
Technical & Help sections of the forum. Please be descriptive in your heading, it works like an alarm for those who might know something about it, seeing immediately what the thread is about. And - remember the
pinned topics!
The Community section of the forum needs no particular introduction, the index is pretty clear on where to go with what! So browse around, click on the
add reply button and enjoy! Please remember to keep everything you post, what we like to call
work friendly, this means
no nudity whatsoever, so everything you post whether it is text or images (outside of the RLD sections), would be deemed
safe to be viewed in a work environment such as an office for instance.
Take a moment to familiarise yourself with the
My Assistant link at the top, as well as the
My Controls feature. You'll also notice that we have an internal message system, so if a flag turns up, it's not an ad, it's a personal message from a fellow forum member. You can always tell if you've received a note at the top right, so don't worry if you accidentally closed down the window with the message. Don't forget to check out our Shoutbox
