Europe offers to cut emissions 95% by 2050 if deal reached at Copenhagen

If they get this deal (I suspect they won't) then that means we'd all better get used to sitting in the cold and the dark and holidaying in the local caravan park once every five years, because energy is going to be luxury that few of us will be able to afford.

Of course, the governments will be happy because they'll be able to tax you 'til you squeal and still make the largely moronic masses cheer them on for doing it. The rich will be happy that once again only they will be afford to go anywhere and do anything, and the roads will finally be cleared of everything except their 5L chauffeur driven Bentleys.

It seems to me, that politicians are now trying to out-green the f*cktards who put forward this whole anthropogenic climate change pish!

Man made climate change? Bah, welcome to man made energy poverty... Just for us, of course, because whilst we're shivering in the dark, wondering if we should feel smug or conned for deliberately sabotaging our own industrialised society, China and India will be scoffing at our stupidity.

You're starting to sound like that f33dback character (what a `orrible cunt) they state by 2050 if there was ever an effort to "put things off" that is it, you forget about nuke power, that's our future in cold rainy places, the rest will have a mix of solar and nuke, as more money gets tossed at solar and it becomes "lucrative" to compete and develop better solar we will see that tech take off nicely.

Nothing to see here folks.

IF the main problem is carbon emissions let have emission free engines that run on cheese or whatever... The oil companies who run the government wouldn't like that so looks like we gonna pay big style..... I'm happy to go green if I get the same results cheaper, more money for beer, unfortunately Bastard Browns solution always involves me paying more to get less....

When are people going to wake up and realize we are being manipulated for profit by these goddamn banks, corporations, and "politicians". Any "crisis" is solved by a new tax of my money? Why not their f'n money? They're the rich p.o.s.

Oh, and hyperinflation is on the way (The "free" media tells me that). My money is going to be worthless.

Unless hypo-inflation is on the way. The good news is your money will still be worthless smile.gif
