The M Team at BMW officially announced the souped up versions of the X5 and X6 a couple of days ago. The cars are both equipped with the new 4,4 litre V8 engine, with 555hp and 678 nm torque all the way from 1500 up to 5650 rpm. These pretty huge cars do 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in an insane 4,7 seconds. That's "only" 0,1 second slower than the BMW M6.
Even though the M6 and X6 M aren't comparable on the race track, it kinda tickles the mind with an idea about a stronger V10 in the M6. Check out the video! Youtube - BMW X6 M Also, pictures at the bottom of this swedish article: Teknikens Värld |
