Here is my pride and joy taken on a very rare sunny day, 1992 Mercedes 300E W124 Carat Duchatelet, she's done 88000 genuine miles
(full service history and mot's to back up the mileage). a few marks on the paintwork here and there but as money
allows it will be sorted.

Atm. I don't owe a car, but if I could afford one I'd go for this Citroën. Timeless design.

just got my first atuo actually; its a '93 dodge d150 (red not like the pic) which was a precursor to the ram paid $900 runs real well and only has 120grand and all the service records. The only downsides are its not a fullsize cab, its got a v6, and no four wheel, but wheels is wheels man..

My sweet ride is a '05 Mercedes Benz SLK 350 with some light modifs to bring the power to 300bhp and 398 Nm of torque.
It's a dream car...

First pic is with my new rims (Brabus) and the second one is with my original AMG ones

The day that your old (classic?) Beemer tops 290kph and still feels glued to the road, give me a sign.... and if being a hairdresser was a pre requisite to own a SLK, I will gladly be one... tongue.gif

Have great fun at the real Nurburgring thumbsup.gif

And if the track has nice bends I don't know if your car will be in front of mine... The SLK has a pretty impressive road holding and is much better than the BMW E30 (had one in the 80's). It is so much glued to the road (sport suspension, wider track than a normal SLK) that in 3 years of ownership, I haven't found its limits on a dry road... Tyres are the Goodyear F1 GS-D3, superb on dry and wet, great mileage (so much better than the Pirelli P-Zero system I had)

BTW, my 0 to 100 km/h is 5.4 seconds...

The only downer is that when the cpu is flashed to de-limit the car, it's automatically re-flashed at the next service and the limit is back to 250 km/h but I can live with that biggrin.gif

Cool, I would love to throw my car around a track though my car only had 130 HP when new, has cushy suspension, and mediocre tires. I'm sporting the 'ground breaking' 1996 Toyota Camry LE, 2.2 L I4. It's not going to break any records but the fun in driving does not solely require a sweet ride, it is how you you drive and how much you enjoy it and how you are able to push it. Then again, I don't have a vehicle whose limits I couldn't hope to explore on the city streets. wink.gif

Road Holding is not and Issue With my E30 As much as it use to be , ok its still ass happy , it likes to go sideways alot , but that's the fun biggrin.gif
As for my 0-100 Km/h time it was performed on the Dyno ( ZERO TRACTION ! ) at 4.8 Seconds , i'd like to test it on the road though !
New Bilstein Coilovers , work a treat i had some michelin's and they cost a bomb !

but now i've found some decent Falken's that are just the same as the michelin's

For a Fraction of the price , plus they last a little longer as they have a slightly hard compound.

Im Currently " Saving the Pennys " for a TurboFreaks Turbo biggrin.gif , the only problem is the shipping from the us cost half the price as the turbo !
huh.gif Awell , can't have it all , i was considering a super charger , as the power is instantanious , the only downer it saps alot of power from the motor , but the turbo freaks throttle response is amazing i was a passanger in a M3 csl With a TF turbo and my god that thing went !

I know the Stock internal's are well up to the job on the E34 M5 engine , and im going to get a camshaft from the 7 series , as there VERY STRONG ! , and advance the timming a little , even without any mod's i could easily massage 400bhp from the Motor.

But ill keep you guy's Updated ! biggrin.gif

And Jeremy , your right it's not the car is the driver , as with any motosport if you have a Morris 1000 , or a Porsche 911 , you can still have fun smile.gif
