Newbie Group: Member Posts: 7 Joined: 13-March 08 Member No.: 42,489	I was just reading the new Serenity comic - "Better Days", and I ended up going over some recent on-line blogs about Firefly...more out of a sad nostalgia than anything else. Anyway I read a quote from Alan Tudyk (Wash) saying that Universal were keen to do another, based simply on the sales of the DVDs. Of course, there's a follow up quote from Joss saying that it aint gonna happen - but he kinda always plays the cynic card. Anyone heard anything further?

Like you say - DVD sales, so just bought Serenity: Collector's Edition (2 Discs) (2005) (Region 1 DVD). eBay will get my other copy

I find it hard to think of any other sci-fi that comes near it. Even BSG lacks the balance of tone of Firefly. Josh Whedon can move me from hide-behind-the-sofa creepedoutness, to roaring laughter, to weepy sentiment, in a single episode, or even act, in a way no other genre writer can.
