No new developments happening afaik ...I received this letter today:

So is this good or bad news? Hows things going with you Geeker?

So at this point they will realise that they were totally wrong and back-pedal, hoping you drop the complaints, don't do that follow it right through.
Bet they try to imply they are doing you a favour by not charging you with anything and you would be better forgetting the whole thing, simply because unless they are total fools they know they are completely in the wrong.

Tbh, I'm feeling really down in the dumps lately, not just because of this fiasco, although it certainly isn't helping any life for me atm is pretty damn sucky big time!

I'm fully expecting them to do exactly the same thing with me as they have done in other similar cases with other sites and/or their owners... extend the bail over and over again and let it drag on for flippin' ages, just because they can

Oh well ...what can you do!

I know what I would love to do but in-reality I can't see it happening, that is to organise a mass exodus to Downing Street of every single person in the UK or Europe for that matter, remotely interested or connected with any form of P2P or file transfer protocols over the web.
Because they are planning to do a clamp down in the UK next year, they have quietly sneaked new rules/laws in relating to this, cow towing to the yank corporates.
So just imaging if it could be done and people actually got off their backsides an participated, I think we're talking at least tens of thousands.
We just tell them no we're not having it, if you want to change stuff pertaining to our individual rights then you ask first, so just get all this shit reversed or you're out of office, quick sharp as we can make it by any means we can find, including causing massive disruption in every field we can influence related or not.
Now that would be people power and I personally thing the government would have to take notice, they need to look at the model and system they have in Canada and take note of the referendum that has just finished over there.
The recent habit of successive British Politicians bending over and offering the use of their arses to the Yanks needs to end.

geeker I would like to know how you are recording all these phone calls , I would like to do the same thing my self with my own phone some times I think it would come in quite handy with dealing with customer service reps :S LOL sorry for going ot here maybe you could pm me the details of how you do it. Also geeker know that misery loves company & by continuing to stick it to them you are making others as well by giving them grief back!

& yourmercifulgod that is such bad advice .... just ... damn! I duno what the hell you are thinking but he wants to stay as far as way as he can from doing anything of the sort right now... who knows they could be watching him... or even come in again & take his new stuff away :S

I think you're missing the WHOLE point... apart from ymg''s typical tongue in cheek reply... Downloading movies is NOT illegal.(ie not a CRIMINAL offense).. (similar to trespassing and the false sign "trespassers will be prosecuted" by whom???) It's a civil case anyone watching him has to prove he is copying and or selling them... Any sort of profiting from the downloads is illegal.... How many people do you know who have been convicted of copying cd's/lp's to tapes, remember them...

You should install a hidden camera system to use as evidence against them if they ever harass you again.
They dont sound like the brightest bunch either. If you can prove your rights were violated in some cases the judge will throw out all the charges.

My apologies to everyone for not posting what happened yesterday when I got back, I wasn't feeling very well so decided to take a couple of sleeping tablets and have an early night.

I reported for bail as required and standing in the doorway of the waiting room, I was told it was being extended again to 11th January @ 4pm.

While talking to him, he told me that I was being rude ! ...I asked a few questions and was fobbed off with either more excuses or legalese gobbledegook, I asked to speak to his superior and then got an explanation and some answers, sort-of...
