When you fire up event viewer, are there any system events listed with useful info? (You can launch Event Viewer from the command-line using eventvwr.exe or mmc.exe)

Good idea torrenter was just about to suggest the event log myself forgot all about that.The event log should tell you what was going on during the mess up on your pc.Was also thinking wondering if perhaps the video card itself is bleeding memory and making it stress your cpu just another thought.
