I call this veggie soup, but it does have ground chuck so it's not really veggie soup.
 1 lb ground chuck 1 15 oz can diced tomatoes 1 15 oz can tomato sauce 1 small package frozen veggies Brown the ground chuck in a skillet. While that's working, pull out your crock pot and plug it in, turn it on. Add the frozen veggies. I get the cheapo bag with corn and carrots and green beans and lima beans. Then open the can of tomato sauce, pour that in the crock pot. Fill the empty can with water. Pour that in. Stir the ground chuck. Open the can of diced tomatoes and pour that in the crock pot. Fill that empty can with water as well. Pour into crock pot. Drain ground chuck and dump that in. Stir. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. High for 5-6 hours. When it's almost ready, make some Southern Cornbread.  |
