Yes thanks for that YMG however do you have any tips on what to serve with them I've tried salt but that's getting boring now.... Also I've had problems opening the boxes, a drill probably, on reflection, wasn't the best tool for the job...

I often find they are best served with Ketchup:

Ketchup Recipe

Ingredients

1 bottle of Ketchup

Attached File  Ketchup.jpg ( 8.12K ) Number of downloads: 0

Method

  1. Flip cap to the open position
  2. Squirt ketchup on plate.

Thanks for that YMG, Ketchup on chips who'd have thought... ......But a plate...ummmm

TOP TIP to save on washing up eat chips from the box using your fingers as handy food lifting devices then discard the box.... the amount of money you save on hot water and soap, will in time, pay for more chips...

METHOD follow YMG's instructions then eat the chips from out of the box negating the need for a plate once the chips are finished crumple the box to a smaller size and place in the bin... Lick fingers and job done....

Good advice BBB and thank you YMG for your excellent tips.

For those of you who like to save energy by utilising BBB's method of not using a plate, thereby not having to wash it and use resources such as hot water and washing up liquid, you can easily save yet even more of your precious time and energy by getting your dog to lick your fingers.

nod.gif Absolutely. Routinely this is good advice

However, should you be hosting a black-tie dinner party for special guests or VIP's, then one would not want to serve them micro chips in a box... on special occasions such as this, one would be inclined to serve them on a paper plate (possibly with a printed border for added class and style) and plastic forks.

Thank you YMG ..When holding a soirée as suggested perhaps little wooden forks made from sustainable forests would be the environmentally friendly choice...

That's real class, that is... One could leave the open box of wooden forks in the centre of the table as an alternative to the ice-sculpture centerpiece.

Of course, going to the trouble and expense of micro chips and ketchup served on printed paper plates and wooden forks, is not an every day affair. Such luxury and ostentatious displays of opulence should be reserved for grandiose and extravagant functions, hosted for guests of exceptional standing... guests such as The president of the United States, Her Majesty the Queen or Britney Spears, for example.

Has her Ladyship the Royal and Honorable Highness mizzzzz Britany resumed her micro chip diet, what a faux pas that might be to unwittingly serve an inappropriate main course...

What a wondrous saving on a, hideous unicorn ice sculpture in favour of a seductively tantalizing semi open carton of cedar cutlery IMHO.....

May I also be so bold as to suggest little paper napkins with patterns matching the plates, to complement the gluttonous, devouring, of such a sumptuous cornucopia of veritable delight..
