Im really getting into playing Medal of honor heroes 2 on the Wii however my brother and i want to talk while we are playing but the Wii does not have this capability. We both have Bluetooth headsets for our mobiles and want to use skype to communicate while we are in the game. Can we just buy a Bluetooth dongle and pair our existing headsets to our PC and talk via skype or do we need dedicated wireless headsets made for PCs?
Thanks in advance. |

Should work. I have a motorola stereo headset. As long as your PC supports Bluetooth via the dongle it should work. You won't get stereo sound though. Sometimes Skype seems to steal the sound from other applications though. I HATED that frickin game for the Wii though. Felt like I was back in the 90's....

snook, lenny and I all have and use bluetooth headsets with skype, works really well and are a boon, I wouldn't be without mine now
If you are going to be buying a dongle, check the specs to see if it does say PC audio compatible. Also, try to get one which does 100 metres if you can, the 10 metre ones can be problematic depending on the environment they're used in |

Thanks for the replies, will be going out to get one this week. Arrgh, whats wrong with the game online? Its the first game i have played online and to me it seems ok - sure the graphics are a wee bit ropey but the overall game play is ok

I rented it and thought it sucked. Years behind PC games. Most of the ports are garbage. If you want a good Wiii shooter try Call of Duty 3.
