The title says it all, i'm trying to make a couple games, such as WoW install however it keeps failing on the install since it can't properly verify some files. I know the hdd is dying and that i am waiting for my advanced rma however is there any way other then getting someone else's completely rar/zipped game sent to me and throw it on my computer to get these games to install?

Either a disk is dead or it's in reasonable condition.
No disk is error free. You can try try write on a bad disk hoping you'll reach an area on the disk, where the data will be stored, but best get a new disk. Hope that made any sence at all to you or just ask again mate.

It made sense, however i can't control some of these installs, they either time out, won't install, or try to install, say they can't verify the install and then fail

I would run you computers scandisk on the drive first and see if it comes up with any bad sectors and if so if it can repair them. If that doesn't work there's not a whole lot you can do besides try to find a spot on the disk with enough good sectors in a row to store what you need. This is basically luck so hopefully your scandisk can do something.

a format with check for bad blocks (a normal in windows world, not a quick one) will disable the bad blocks
