Try restarting it (power cycle).
Then, look at your ethernet properties and especially the gateway. That's your router IP most of the times so use that for a change. |

If all else fails there should be a reset button on the back usually a small hole that you need to push the end of a paperclip or something similar into.
Make and model number may help. |

if its a Netgear then 192.168.0.1 should get you in ,other makes sometimes change around the last 2 digits.
user name and password by defaul are usually something like Username = Admin or Administrator Password = Password |

the username & password is'nt the problem. i usally could access it anytime i wanted to. now, i get the cannot access server message. i reset the damn thing and it worked fine. well just long enough for me to open 1 port. when i went bact to try and open another for dc++, it froze. now i cant get in it again..lol
and where can i find the ethernet, and gateway properties? oh, and its a westell327W. umm, i think i might know what the problem is. i think my isp is blocking dc++. either the name, or the ports. i changed the name and used different ports and it worked fine. now i just need to see if i can download.
