The following is a tutorial on how to setup the Wii to enable you to play Wii games directly from an external hardrive connected to the Wii via USB.
For the first timer make sure you have about 2-3 hours spare to do this, follow the instructions slowly. >> Click Me << Once you have completed this you will also be able to copy all your owned games to the hard drive so you'll never damage another DVD! When you copy games to the hard drive it removes all the filler, Some of the games I've copied so far are < 200MB!! You can also import ISO files directly! **Ideal BACKUP solution** I would never suggest that you use this method to rip friends games, rentals or download ISO's from filesharing sites What now follows are a few Youtube clips showing different front ends. That should give you some ideas anyway. Please move if required or delete if already posted. enjoy =)) This post has been edited by eazbak: Jun 15 2009, 01:06 PM |

TBH that's a bit over kill you can set it up in under 15 minutes once you know exactly what you are doing!
Good luck, its great and the computer software allows you to do so much, you can clone the hard drive or extract the games on it back to ISOs... I love it. |
